The global judging panel uses both your online summary and video pitch concurrently to grade projects based on the following specific criteria:

Objective, evidence-informed definition of the clinical need. Description of the scale of the healthcare burden and clear identification of the target beneficiary population.

Innovation & Value
|
Technical mechanics of the proposed technology. Clear articulation of novelty, intellectual property potential, and definite advantages over the historical status quo.
|
|
Feasibility & Evidence
|
Justification of the selected TRL category backed by early lab data, scientific research, or functional prototypes. Presentation of an achievable roadmap.
|
|
Implementation & Finance
|
A realistic operational plan detailing deployment. Identification of required clinical partnerships, supply chains, and itemized next-step financial capital requirements.

|
Team & Public Input
|
Proof of interdisciplinary capability. Clear documentation showing how patient, public, or stakeholder perspectives have explicitly shaped the project design.

Judging Note: The Video Pitch acts as the initial screening mechanism to grade structure, communication, and visual clarity. The Executive Summary is reviewed closely alongside the video to evaluate granular scientific data, technical calculations, and execution frameworks.
